The Amitabha Stupa (Sedona)
Description: This is a unique site in two respects. It is the only true Manzanita/Pinon/Juniper site on this list and it is owned and sponsored by Sedona’s Buddist Community as a sacred site. Please treat it with special care and respect. There are enough trails here to satisfy any birders need to look at the next tree or wash for a migrant or a breeding bird. It is also a place of great peace where it good just to sit and let the birds come to you. A bonus! This is a site listed with the National Wildlife Federation as a Certified Wildlife Habitat!

Restrictions and fees: This is a sacred site and you are asked to treat it with respect. There are no fees, however, a donation box, located at the side of the main sign close to the entrance.

Ease of road access: The property is accessed directly off paved roads in Sedona. There is an unpaved driveway to the ample parking lot.
Ease of hiking access: Trails are clear and easily hiked. The trail from the parking lot to the Stupa itself is easy although there is a very short climb to it. Birders will delight in the maze of trails that run throughout the property.
